Tech Special – Jargon Guide
There’s a ton of jargon around technology in startups, so here’s a list of common terms that you may hear when talking tech with founders and devs. Front-End and Back-End The Front End is the part of the system that the user interacts with. The Back End is the bit that manages data and communications. In a Web-based system, the Front End is everything that happens in the browser and the Back End is everything that happens on the server.
